Twilight
acrylic and oil on linen
13.5 x 17.5 inches (framed)
Once, at a particularly hard time in my life, I found a dove that had fallen down my nonfunctional fire chimney. He was fine— just a little scared, like me. I saw him as a messenger of good things to come, of peace and quiet. In this piece, I wanted to convey that feeling in the golden hour of twilight.
