For much of our young lives we are running— chasing love, chasing success— outrunning even ourselves in a desperate attempt to find out who we are, just as the figure in the foreground. At some point, we hopefully slow down, finding a sense of peace and acceptance for who we are, as we are, just as in the figure in the distance. She is standing in her power. She is standing in her peace, in a grateful acceptance of the imperfect beauty of who she is.
